After some brief morning showers, Saturday October 31st
was a great day for racing.
As we head into our last two weeks of racing,
the driver championships are heating up with Junior 2
Raptor having the closest competition and Teddy Wisniewski might be the
first to lock up the Junior 2 Animal 2009 Championship. All the top
drivers will be running hard through the final races to secure their
championship.
The new track support truck works great, thank you
Russell, Chad, Jason and Bob for all your hard work! It will make
setup and breakdown easier and faster.
Thank you Whitney Bria for volunteering to be the NKA
Official Scorer.
Ginger Halstrom has been nominated for the position of
Secretary for 2010.
Voting for all positions will take place during the next
monthly meeting Tuesday November 3, 2009, 7:30
pm at the VFW, 465 Riverside Avenue in Westport.
Remember to continue selling your Fun Day Raffle Tickets
and return the stubs at the November 14th race day. For more Tickets

Although Saturday October 24th was rained out Sunday
October 25th was a great day with great weather for racing and driver
championships continue to be close.
Thank you Russell Lajoie, Jason Kurtzman, Bob Byxbe and
Chad Lajoie for all your assistance getting the track truck ready.

Saturday October 17th turned out to be a great day of
racing. The weather co-operated and we completed a full day of great
racing. Will all members working hard to get the track setup and
corner marshal positions filled quickly we completed racing and cleanup
without any rain delays.
Standings are updated and the race for the 2009
championships is heating up. Good luck to all the drivers and see you
at the races...
The raffle for the club banquet is in full swing and
help the club by selling extra tickets. Remember that the member that
sells the most tickets receives a free 2010 membership. |

Association and just completed his Rookie year driving for Cunningham
Motorsports in the ARCA RE/Max Series.

NC (10-11-09) - ARCA RE/MAX Series title contender
Parker Kligerman did
everything he needed to do to win the championship. The Westport,
Connecticut rookie led the most laps and won Sunday's ARCA RE/MAX
American 200 at Rockingham Speedway. However, it wasn't good enough to
keep Justin Lofton from
claiming the crown.

increase race fees by $5.00 from $30.00 to $35.00 including pit pass. |

 | As of October 3rd 2009 all karts are require to have 5/16 wheel
bolts installed. Karts failing to have bolts installed will not be
allowed to race. |

 | Seals installed in the Spring season are void. |
 | To continue racing your wire motor seals
must be replaced by October
